No Bake Cookies & Cream Bars #dessert #cake

Cheerful Monday! I have been staying aware of my 'Make one custom made treat/dessert thing consistently' plan! (For those that are new here, I HATE preparing and making pastries, however I am attempting to break out of my usual range of familiarity and improve the situation!)

My hubby and the children are LOVING this by the way 😉

A week ago, I discovered this amazing looking formula for Cookies and Cream Bars that really wound up NO BAKE and gracious my gosh did they turn out tasty! On the off chance that you like Oreo treats or those Hershey Cookies and Cream bars, you are going to LOVE these!!!!

Ingredients :
  • For the crust
  • 24 Oreos
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • For the filling
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 6 oz Cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 12 Oreos, roughly chopped
  • For the topping
  • 6 Oreos, roughly chopped
  • 3/4 cups dark chocolate chips

Instructions :

For the crust
  1. Place 24 oreos in a plastic baggy and smash them into crumbs with a rolling pin. Melt butter in the microwave and combine oreo crumbs with the butter and press into a 9 inch square pan that has been lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.

For the filling
  1. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave for 15 second increments, stirring in between until smooth.
  2. Stir the softened cream cheese with the melted white chocolate until it forms a smooth mixture.
  3. Next, fold in the 12 chopped up Oreos.
  4. Spread the mixture over the oreo crust in the pan as evenly as possible. Set Aside.

For the topping
  1. Sprinkle 6 chopped oreos evenly over the top of the white chocolate mixture. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in 15 second increments, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle over the top and then chill in the fridge for a couple of hours before cutting. ENJOY!
